WHAT is the difference between Custom and Ad Hoc Reports?

Custom Reports retrieve and display all reported information in a spreadsheet format. Filters can be set before the report is run to narrow down results. Each column can be sorted after the report is run. Custom Reports can be downloaded as a CSV (comma separated value) format and opened in spreadsheet software programs.

Ad Hoc Reports are comprised of user-generated statements. Users attach rules to these statements which allow for targeted, unique, and customized reporting on your organization's client population. Ad Hoc Reports can also be used to run diagnostic reports, enabling each organization to quality check their own data entry and collection methods.
