Once a Custom Report has run...

After running your Custom Report, the data will be displayed in a spreadsheet format. This is called the graph view.

The Report Columns are the selections from the report builder screen.

Each row is based on what Report Type was selected:

A Demographic report will contain one client per row.

A Program report will contain one program per row.

A Service report will contain one service per row.

...and so on

Each column has a filter option available, enabling you to narrow down your desired results with a few clicks. Simply click the drop-down list under the desired column header and select the items you wish to filter. The results will filter in real-time and appear below.

Note that each of these filters “stack” upon one another - multiple items can be selected in each column and across multiple columns and the report will apply each filter to the returned data points, further narrowing down your desired results.

Report View

Above the results and to the right, you will see Report View: followed by four icons.

Each of these icons display your results in different formats:

Graph View - Displays all data in a classic spreadsheet format.

List View - Lists each report column in groups.

Pie Chart View - Displays all data in pie chart form.

Bar Graph View - Displays all data in a bar graph form.

When the Report View is selected from the top of the report, that report view will be applied to the entire report. Once List View, Pie Chart View, or Bar Graph View is selected, you have the option of applying different Views to each Report Column on an individual basis.

Simply locate the Report Column of which you wish to change the view, then select the desired view icon to the right of the Report Column name.

You can also filter the report information in any of these three views. Near the top of the report, click the Data Filters button located to the left. A box will expand below displaying all Report Column categories as drop-down lists. Select as many or as few options from each Report Column to filter data in real time below.

In this example, we are only seeing data related to female clients.

Download Reports

If you wish to download the report results, click the orange Download (CSV) button near the top right corner of the screen.

Note: this will download the report in its entirety - filters selected before clicking Download will not affect the data that is downloaded.
