eLogic Genesis prevents staff from creating duplicate entries by both having a duplicate checker within our search feature as well as a duplicate checker connected to all Client Created areas. When a new client is generated, whether from the People page or the Family feature, the system is alerted to check the system for a similar record and cross compare major data areas like address, date of birth, case number, zip code and first and last name. Then the Navigator can determine if they already exist in the system and either abandon new profile creation in favor of the existing profile or proceed in creating the new client profile.
